Natalee Britton

January 28, 1895 — January 26, 1950

Mrs. Natalee Britton, 55, wife of Rex Britton, died at her Richmond Township home, Thursday, January 26, 1950.

Mother of four World War II serviceman and a fifth now in the Army in Germany, Mrs. Britton was born at Noble, NY, but spent most of her life in Crawford County.  She was employed by Talon, Inc., for about 16 years, and was a member of Richmond Grange and the New Richmond Methodist Church Women's Society for Christian Service.

Surviving are her husband; nine children, Richard, Neal and Robert of Meadville; Mrs. Walter Wilson and Glenn at home; William in Germany with the US Army; Mrs. James Radar of Long Beach, CA; Mrs. George Townley of Cambridge Springs; Mrs. Louis Dixon of Washington DC; and Mrs. Roy Grinnell of Geneva.  Another son, Paul, of the army, was killed in Belgium in May, 1945.

Other survivors are her mother, Mrs. Blanche Danner of Lincolnville; and a half-brother, Elmer Smith of Lincolnville; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Rootville Cemetery.
