Neil A. Roha

Neil A. Roha, 74, of Meadville, died Saturday, February 13, 1993 at Meadville Medical Center following an illness of several months.

He was born in West Mead Township, September 13, 1918, a son of the late William J. and Velva Jones Roha.  He married Wilma Carr, August 30, 1940.  She survives.

He retired in 1972 as superintendent of standards at Abex after 32 years of service.  He was owner and operator of Center Bowl from 1950 to 1990.  He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.  He was a US Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific.

He was a 1940 graduate of Allegheny College and a member of the Crawford Masonic Lodge 234; Scottish Rite Bodies of Erie; Zem Zem Shrine Temple of Erie; Crawford County Shrine Club; Meadville Country Club; Elk Lodge 219; Penn West Chapter of the National Camping Travelers, Inc. and AARP.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William (Virginia) Fanning of Meadville; a son, Thomas A. Roha of Washington, DC; a brother, Max E. Roha of Brecksville, OH; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held with Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
