Nellie Mae (Free) Amdal

April 23, 1920 — September 20, 1965

Mrs. Nellie Mae Free Amdal, 45, wife of Donald B. Amdal of Saegertown, died at Spencer Hospital at 3 p.m. Monday, September 20, 1965, after a long illness.

She was born in Crawford County April 23, 1920, a daughter of Harvey and Effie Bell Free and married Mr. Amdal June 30, 1951.

A member of Mercy United Church of Christ, Saegertown, she was employed in the process department of American Viscose Division of FMC Corp.

Surviving, besides her husband, are her mother of Conneaut Lake; four sisters, Mrs. Walter (Estelle) Hardwick of Conneaut Lake, Mrs. Reddin (Olive) Terrill of Cochranton, Mrs. Russell (Helen) Smith of Cochranton, and Mrs. Allen (Mary) Copeland of Cambridge Springs; four brothers, Lawrence of Erie, Lester of Hollywood, FL, Sylvester of Los Angeles, and Joseph of Linesville.

Services were held at the Waid Funeral Home with Rev. William S. Brown of Mercy United Church of Christ, Saegertown, officiating.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
