Nellie M. Woodcock

Mrs. Nellie M. Woodcock, 76, of Guys Mills, died at Spencer Hospital Sunday, August 1, 1976, after a brief illness.

A daughter of David M. and Flora Nelson Morrison, she was born near Guys Mills, January 25, 1900.  She married Glenn F. Woodcock, January 9, 1921.

A graduate of the former Randolph High School and Edinboro State Normal School, she taught in Oil City and Stroudsburg.  A member of United Church of Guys Mills, she was a Sunday School teacher and officer; a church officer and an officer of the church's Women's Missionary Society at various times.

In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Mae L.) Sutley of Guys Mills and Mrs. Winton (Gladys) Flaugh of Guys Mills; a son, Richard G. Woodcock of Youngsville; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
