Nellie May Krotzer

January 1, 1888 — June 24, 1959

Mrs. Nellie May Krotzer, 71, wife of Earl Krotzer, of Meadville, died Wednesday, June 24, 1959, at Spencer Hospital where she had been a patient for the past two weeks.

She was born in Oil City, January 1, 1888, a daughter of William and Eva Whitely Stanton.  She previously was employed by the Crawford County Dry Goods Co. for many years as a saleslady.

She was a member of Stone Methodist Church and of the Wesleyan Service Guild of the church; a graduate of Meadville High School and of the Meadville Commercial College; a member of the American Legion Aux. 840 and of the Meadville Grange.

In addition to her husband; she is survived by a son, Merle of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Neil (Ruth) Hamilton of Meadville and Mrs. Josephine Ferer of Pennsburg and two grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
