Noel M. “Mac” Dean, Jr, 61 of Sandy Lake, passed away on October 28, 2019 at his home. Mac was born in Dover, Delaware on October 25, 1958 to Noel M. Dean, Sr. of Sandy Lake, and Beverly Jones of Liberty, West Virginia. He was a 1978 Graduate of Lakeview High School and went on to work at Clinch-tite, the Meadville Airport, McQuiston Swamp Gas, Gilliland’s Service Station, Conneaut Lake Park, and Lakeview Dodge. Mac was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and guns. He loved his tractor and working on it. He was a charter member of the Mercer County Antique Power Assoc. He was also a member of the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Mac is survived by sisters Robin Chestnut of Leon, WV and Rose Dean of Liberty, WV, and brother Isaac Dean of Sandy Lake. He was preceded in death by his brother Willie Dean. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Home of STONEBORO, 99 Franklin Street, where family and friends are welcome from 2-4 & 6-8 on Thursday, October 31, A funeral service will take place at 10 am on Friday, November 1 at the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, 7 Condit Road, Sandy Lake, with the Pastor Janet Pratt, Officiating. Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family asks everyone come in casual dress to services. Memorials may be made in Noel’s name to the Mercer County Antique Power Association, PO Box 141, Mercer, PA 16137.
