Mrs. Norma A. Aaron, 69, of RD 2, Guys Mills, died at City Hospital at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 5,1977, after a long illness.
Born in Randolph Township on March 12, 1908, she was a daughter of C. Leslie and A. Jessie Bowes Bogardus. In 1948 she married Cyril A. Aaron who died in 1968. Mrs. Aaron was a graduate of Millard Fillmore Hospital School of Nursing at Buffalo and was a member of the hospital staff for 13 years. She served in the United State Army Nurse Corps as a captain during World War II and from 1959 to 1972 served in various nursing capacities at Meadville City Hospital. She was a member of the United Church of Guys Mills.
Survivors include two brothers, Floyd L. Bogardus of RD 2, Guys Mills, and Kenneth O. Bogardus of RD 1, Cooperstown; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 3:30 to 5: p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Wayne Sova, pastor of Untied Church of Guys Mills, officiating.
Interment will be at Townville Cemetery.
