Norman E. Brumagin, 79, of Conneaut Lake died Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Andover, OH.
He was born June 13, 1936 in Union City, PA a son of Wallace Wayne and Alda Grace Loop Brumagin. He married Louise Marie Brace November 26, 1955 in Waterford, PA and they enjoyed 55 years of marriage until she preceded him in death June 9, 2011.
He was a graduate of Waterford High School and worked at Zurn Industries as a machine operator for 40 years. He also worked for the US Postal Service as a fill-in mail carrier in Waterford for about 15 years.
He was a member and served as a trustee of the Conneaut Valley Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed country music, polka and square dancing, traveling and working in his garden and yard.
He is survived by two daughters, Sally Haibach and her husband Ken of Erie and Cindy Gilbert and her husband George of Pittsburgh; a son, Brian Brumagin and his wife Jan of Waterford; two sisters, Patricia Smith and her husband Gregg of Novelty, OH and Linda Morgan and her husband Charles in South Carolina; a brother, James Brumagin in Virginia; two aunts and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.
The funeral service will be Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Conneaut Valley Church of the Nazarene, 139 S. Main Street, Springboro, PA with the Rev. Marshall Lillie, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Miller Station Cemetery, Cambridge Springs.
