Norman L. Jenkins

Norman L. Jenkins, Jr., 81 of Sandy Lake, Mercer County, passed away on April 15, 2023. Beloved husband of Janet (Perkins) Jenkins.

Loving father of: Michael (Angela) Jenkins, late son Gary “Goob” (Shelly) Jenkins, Noralynn (Tony) Cutuli, Steven (Jen) Jenkins, and his dog “Bubba”. Loving step-father of: Michael (Crystie) Mackins and Michelle (James) Maseth. Grandfather to 13 grandchildren: Cole, Marley, Grant Jenkins; Ben, Anna Cutuli; Christopher, Derrick Jenkins; Nathan, Sebastain, Declan, Callan Maseth; and Cruz, Dylan Mackins. Brother to: Carol (Bill) Gruca, Shirl (Will) Facey, the late Dee (Ron) Pickens, and Chuck (Margie) Jenkins, David (Barbie) Peyton, and Diane (Ken) Oster, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Norman L. Jenkins, Sr. and Mabel Elizabeth (Palmer) Jenkins, son Gary, sister Dee, and mother of his children: Kathy O’Hare Jenkins.

Norm was a quiet person who always thought of others. He retired form Port Authority of Allegheny County where he was a driver, part of the credit union, and helped organize the golf league, also participating in numerous other aspects. He was an avid golfer, hunter, and tinkerer. He loved the outdoors.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Emmanuel Christian Church at 4:00 PM
