O. Glenn Boylan

January 16, 1898 — November 8, 1987

O. Glenn Boylan, 89, of Meadville, died Sunday, November 8, 1987, at Wesbury United Methodist Community, after an illness of several months.

He was born in Hayfield Township, January 16, 1898, a son of William A. and Mary L. Wood Boylan.  He married the former Eleanor Dean on June 12, 1919.  She preceded him in death on December 26, 1971.

Glenn was retired from the former America Viscose Corp. as a Foreman in the Acetate Department.  He also formerly owned and operated a retail radio sales store.  He was a member of the Stone United Methodist Church.

He is survived by three sons, Dr. Roger G. Boylan of Tempe, AZ, Howard D. Boylan of Charlotte, NC and Richard E. Boylan of Oklahoma City, OK; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Chester Boylan.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
