Oliver S. Brock

Oliver S. Brock, 78, of Meadville, died Sunday, November 15, 1987 at Meadville Medical Center at illness of over two years.

He was born in Meadville, September 4, 1909, a son of James J and Charlotte Stanford Brock.  He marrid M. Frances Nordrum June 1, 1942.  She survives.

Oliver retired in 1973 from Talon.  He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge #234, the Meadville Eagles Club and a life member of Vernon Central Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Eleanor Wills of Meadville and Jane Grogan of Meadville; a brother, James Brock of Meadville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Connelly.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
