Ora L. Stone

Mrs. Ora L. Stone, 85, formerly of Meadville, widow of Clifford A. Stone, died at Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, OH, Tuesday, April 3, 1984.  She had been in failing health for some time.

Mrs. Stone was born at Wayne Township, August 25, 1898, a daughter of John and Adelaide Lang Slingluff.  She married Clair M. Dearborn and subsequently married Stone who died in 1983.  She worked in the advertising department of the former Keystone View Co. and was affiliated with Stone United Methodist Chruch.  She also was a member of Meadville Button Club and Dames of Malta.

She is survived by a son, Edward Dearborn of Norwood; a step-daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Bagby of McConnellsville, OH; a stepson, Alfred Stone of Edinboro; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
