Orlo Leroy (Roy) Hills

August 10, 1910 — November 25, 1951

Orlo LeRoy (Roy) Hills, 41-year-old Bethesda Home chef and father of four children, died at City Hospital yesterday, about 48 hours after he suffered a skull fracture and other injuries in a truck accident seven miles east of Meadville.

Chef at Bethesda Home since May 1950, Hills made his home at Meadville.

Although he had resided in Crawford County at various times, Mr. Hills had worked as a chef in Cleveland, Erie and Detroit.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Harriet Winslow Hills; four daughters, Margaret, 14, Beverly, 13, Frances, 12, and Lorraine, 8; a sister, Mrs. Leona Robinson of Fairmont, WV; his mother, Mrs. J. C. Hunt of Clarksburg, WV and his father, Charles Hills of Blooming Valley.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
