Orpha A. Brown

Orpha A. Brown, 76, wife of Lewis F. Brown, died Sunday, October 14, 1951, at Meadville City Hospital.

Mrs. Brown had lived in Woodcock Township since her marriage 54 years ago.  She was daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bates Walton of East Mead Township.

Surviving in addition to her husband are four daughters, Mrs. Clarence Humes and Mrs. D. D. VanMarter, both of Meadville, Mrs. Frederick Cotton of Titusville and Mrs. Carl L. Brown of Guys Mills; a son, Edward L. Brown of Saegertown; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ralla L. Walton and Bates Walton of East Mead Township, and a sister, Mrs. George Tyler of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
