Orris Delos Blakeslee, 72, of Guys Mills, died Sunday, September 28, 1958, at Spencer Hospital where he had been a patient for four days. He had been in ill health for two years.
A former tool and die maker, he had been employed at the old Phoenix Iron Works, Meadville, and at the Ford and Packard Motor companies, Detroit.
He was born March 22, 1886, at Spartansburg, a son of Norman J. and Adeline Stokes Blakeslee. He was married to the former Anna Ruth Stipe July 13, 1935.
He was a seventh degree member of Randolph Grange.
Besides his widow, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Agatha Hoovler and Mrs. Dolly Savugot, both of Meadville, and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
