Orville C. Robinson

Orville C. Robinson, 90, of Linesville, formerly of Meadville, died Sunday, December 6, 1992 at Rolling Fields Nursing Home.

He was October 12, 1902, in Medaryvulle, IN, a son of the late Charles Elmer and Sarah Jane (Jennie) Long Robinson.  He and his wife, Zella P. Robinson, were married March 31, 1923.  She preceded him in death December 15, 1990.

He retired in 1964 from FMC Corp., Meadville, where he had worked 30 years.  Previously, he worked at American Bridge, Gary, IN, and Goodrich Tire and Rubber CO., Akron.  He was a member of the Linesville United Methodist Church and was a 50 year member of Linesville Grange.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. James (June) Merry of Linesville; two sons, Clarence Robinson of Huntington Station, Long Island, NY and William Robinson of Kent, OH; a brother, Owen Robinson of Oneonta, NY; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Robinson of Eldon Robinson.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
