Otto R. Woodring, 75, of Meadville, died at his Sunday, July 30, 1978.
Born in Woodcock Township, March 1, 1903, he was a son of Joseph and Mary Woodring. He married M. Irene Gerard June 27, 1922. Employed as a refrigeration engineer by the former Viscose Division of FMC Corp. in Meadville, he retired in 1968.
In addition to his wife, survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Achille (Gerry) Poux of Guys Mills, Mrs. James (Marian) Simmons of Saegertown and Mrs. Henry (Mickey) Zelasco of Meadville; a son, Ronald O. Woodring of Seabrook, MD; two sisters, Mrs. Esther McIntyre of Youngstown and Mrs. Hazel Haven of Cambridge Springs; a brother, Trace Woodring of Meadville; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
