Park Lingo

November 23, 1914 — April 23, 1996

Park Lingo, 81, of Meadville, died at home Tuesday, April 23, 1996 after a short illness.

He was born November 23, 1914 in Townville, a son of the late Newton J. and Susan Hamman Lingo.  He married Mildred Hope, June 4, 1942.  She survives.

He worked for many years for Kebert Construction.  He was a veteran of the US Army Co. B in the European Theater during World War II, where he was also a POW.  He was a member of Masonic Lodge #408, Scottish Rite Bodies of Erie and  Zem Zem Shrine Temple of Erie.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Linda) Myers of Titusville; a sister, Nola L. Stolz of Tolar, TX and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Lingo and a brother, Jack Lingo.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
