Pastor Gerry R. Brown

Pastor Gerry R. Brown, 68, of Conneaut Lake, went to be with his Savior on Friday, February 26, 2021.

He was born July 8, 1952 in Erie, a son of Richard and Uldine O’Connor Brown.  He married Sarah Watts September 12, 1997.

Gerry was a graduate of Northwestern High School.  He was ordained through Harvest Time Ministries, Hubbard, OH where he served on the board and was the Pastor at Park Congregational Church, Meadville.  He previously worked at Lord Corporation, Cambridge Springs.

Gerry enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors, in addition to his loving wife Sarah, include three children, Marylynn Lenhardt, Wendy Tew (Joshua), and Robert Brown (Anette); a stepson, Robert Watts; a step-daughter, Stacey Watts; two brothers, Pastor Terry Brown (Kathy) and Karl Brown (Tammy); a half-brother, Kenneth Tomes; a half-sister, Bonnie Ely; a step-sister, Debbie Pettis (Wes); seven grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 half-sisters, Kelly McClinton and Kathy Marner; 2 step-brothers, Reed and James Lowing; and a step-sister, Darlene Kegley.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 6th from 10 to 11 a.m. at Park Congregational Church, 1040 Washington St., Meadville where the memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.  The wearing of masks is required.
