Patricia A. Cronin, 72, of Meadville, died Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

She was born August 23, 1942 in Meadville, a daughter of Earle and Aleen Bradley Waite.  She married Norman Cronin August 11, 1962 and he survives.

Patricia was a graduate of Meadville High School.  She worked for Zuver Aqua Pets, the Meadville Tribune, and retired from the cafeteria at Crawford Central School District.

Patricia enjoyed cake baking and going to the Crawford County Fair and especially attending the harness racing events.  She was an avid dog lover and particularly her Shelties which she has had for over 30 years.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Norman of almost 53 years, include two daughters, Shirley A. Cronin and Susan A. Cronin, both of Meadville; a brother, Charles Waite and his wife Marsha of Meadville; two nieces, Tanya Nagel and Anastasia Zur; and two nephews, Brian Aylsworth and Andrew Zur.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Cronin.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville with scripture prayer service at 4:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Agatha Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville with Fr. Matthew Kujawinski as Celebrant.

Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.
