Patricia Ann Bodosky

September 11, 1942 — July 2, 2000

Patricia Ann Bodosky, 57, of Conneaut Lake, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at her home following a valiant battle against cancer.

She was born in Pittsburgh, September 11, 1942, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Geltz Power.  She married David A. Bodosky February 8, 1964.  He survives.

She had been employed by Meadville Medical Center as a registered nurse in the operating room.  For the past 19 years, she was employed by UPMC Horizon, Greenville in its operating room as a RN having obtained her national certification of operating room nurses.  She also was an active co-owner of the former Fassett's Restaurant and Catering Service of Conneaut Lake for 28 years.

She was a graduate of St. Benedict's Academy and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, both of Pittsburgh.  She was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church of Conneaut Lake and the church's Altar Rosary Society.  She was a member of Youngstown, OH, chapter of the American Operating Room Nurses Assn.

She enjoyed sewing, needlework, reading and most of all her grandchildren.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Dr. David J. Bodosky (Kippy) of Conneaut Lake; a daughter, Pamela Ann Davis (Donald J.) of Conneaut Lake; three grandchildren, Jacob Bodosky, Tabitha Davis of Conneaut Lake and Dawson Bodosky; a brother, John Power (Pamela) of Sacramento, CA; and her mother, Elizabeth Power Sturges of Cabot.

She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Debra a Bodosky.

Services were held at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.

Interment was in Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery.
