Patricia (Williams) Devore Cronin

Patricia Williams DeVore Cronin, 74, of Meadville died at home Tuesday, February 21, 2017.

She was born in Meadville August 14, 1942 a son of Alexander and Cecelia Williams.  She first married Donald C. DeVore and subsequently married Dennis C. Cronin April 10, 1999 and he survives.

She was a graduate of Meadville High School and was a member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church.  She worked at Sears in Erie for 25 years retiring in 2001.  She enjoyed sewing, crafting, her flowers and gardening.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Dennis of 17 years, include: a daughter, Denise C. DeVore of Erie; a son, Donald C. DeVore of Dunedin, FL; four sisters, Theresa Anne Williams of Sharon, Mary Jane Semian and her husband Robert of Cochranton, Stella (Toots) Williams and her husband Ronald of Meadville and Viola Larson and her husband Larry of Herndon, VA; a Goddaughter, Melissa Carlson of Erie; a Godson, Lon Williams of Meadville; a brother-in-law, Norman Cronin of Meadville; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Zur and her husband Marion of Meadville and nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Calling hours will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville with a Scripture Prayer Service at 7:45 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine Street, Meadville with Fr. Thomas Trocchio, celebrant.

Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
