Patricia M. Holmberg

Patricia M. Holmberg, 81, of Beverly Dr., Meadville, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, at her residence.

She was born in Ridgway, PA on January 12, 1943, a daughter of Patrick F. Caskey and Dorothy B.  (Amacher) Caskey Dillon.

She was a 1961 graduate of Ridgway High School and on June 30, 1961, Patricia married Merle E. Holmberg, he passed away December 24, 2020. She was employed at Crawford Central School District where she worked in the cafeteria for 25 years, retiring in May 2004.

She was a member of Meadville First Christian Church where she sang in the choir, sang solos, and belonged to Victory Sunday School Class. Pat enjoyed embroidery, word searches, watching NASCAR, and would type recipes for others to enjoy. She collected angel figurines and had polio as a young child.  Pat truly enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, David Holmberg of Meadville; a daughter, Deborah J. Holmberg Rodgers of Franklin, PA; a brother, Roger M. Dillon and his wife Audrey of Bradford, PA; two grandchildren, Joshua Rodgers and Jessica Lord and her husband Matthew; a brother-in-law, Lynn Rhodes; two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, stepfather Mark Dillon, and a sister Rebecca Rhodes.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church 503 North Main St.  Extension Meadville, PA 16335.
