Patricia N. (Patty) Miller

April 13, 1934 — March 29, 2002

Patricia N. (Patty) Miller, 67, of 10922 Perry Highway, Meadville, died unexpectedly Friday, March 29, 2002, at the Meadville Medical Center.

She was born in New Castle, April 13, 1934, a daughter of Charles & Bertha Mason Newton.  She married Wilbur A. Miller June 18, 1955, and he survives.

She was the Office Manager for H & R. Block at the Downtown Mall Office in Meadville for whom she had worked for the past 27 years.

She was a 1952 graduate of New Castle High School, a member of Stone United Methodist Church, Meadville, and the former church Financial Secretary.  She enjoyed family time, time on the Clarion River, house boating on Lake Cumberland, KY, gardening, flowers, and hummingbirds.

Survivors in addition to her husband of 46 years, include two sons, Mark A. Miller and his wife Carol of Franklin, David C. Miller and his wife Marie of Meadville, a daughter Suzan Moyers, and her husband Jeffery of Conneaut Lake, five grandchildren, Shawn Miller and his wife Peggy Sue, Eric Miller, Bryan Miller, Christopher Miller, and Jenna Miller, her step-father, Rev. John E. Scott of New Castle, and two nieces.

Calling hours will be Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Stone United Methodist Church, 956 South Main St., Meadville, with the Rev. Dr. James Durlesser, Pastor officiating, and the Rev. John E. Scott, Step-father, assisting.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, New Castle.
