Patricia “Patty” Ann Dignall, 62 of Cochranton, passed away in her home on October 7, 2018. Patty was born in Grove City on January 12, 1956 to the late James E. and Ruth I. Buchanan Dignall. She was a 1974 graduate of Cochranton High School, attended the Crawford County Vo-Tech for Data Processing, and earned her Associated Degree in Computer Science from Thiel College. She passed the Postal Workers Exam in 1986 and Obtained her Real Estate License in 1988. She worked for many years as a Clerk in the Carlton Post Office as well as for the family business, Dignall’s Pennzoil & Auto Parts in Cochranton. Patty was a member of Milledgeville Presbyterian Church, a member of the Christian Endeavor, and the State Sunday School Assoc. She traveled many different places with the Christian Endeavor. She was also a member of the Who’s Who Empire. She enjoyed history and family genealogy, cooking, going to Walmart and the Motzing Center in Cochranton to watch movies. She also loved the outdoors, hiking, and gardening, especially flowers. She was an animal lover, her favorite being deer, bears, and especially cats. Patty is survived by her brother Dennis Dignall and wife Barbara of Carlton, sister Catherine “Cathy” Burchill and husband Scott of Greenville, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her brother, David A. Dignall. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.
