Patrick H. Mcnulty

Patrick H. McNulty, 72, of Meadville, died Monday, March 26, 2007 at Hamot Medical Center, Erie.

He was born in Meadville December 24, 1934 a son of George McNulty and Lucille Young Laver.

He worked as a machinist at Avtex Corp. for over 20 years and subsequently worked as Head Custodian for Penncrest School District for several years before retiring in 1999.  He was a graduate of Meadville High School.  He served in the US Navy from 1956-1958 aboard the USS Rogers.  He also enjoyed bowling.

Survivors, include: three daughters, Denise Harry and her husband William of Meadville, Gail Cressley and her husband Scott of Meadville and Carla Teasdale and her husband Sam of Lexington, KY; his former wife, Dorothy McNulty of Meadville; three brothers, Gary McNulty and his wife Joyce of Conneaut Lake, Frank McNulty of Meadville and Robert McNulty and his wife Fran of Sebastian, FL; one step-sister, Mary Rueger of Tuscan, AZ; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two step-fathers, William McMillan and George Laver.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Philip Torre, Pastor of First Assembly of God Church officiating.  Military honors will be provided by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2006, Meadville.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 1087 Park Ave., Meadville, PA 16335 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
