Paul E. Beerbower

Paul E. Beerbower, 76, of Meadville, died at Meadville Medical Center, Friday, November 27, 1998, following a period of declining health.

He was born in Venango, January 3, 1922, a son of Charles A. and Bernice (Walters) Beerbower.  He married C. June Beardsley September 26, 1942 and she preceded him in death December 18, 1987.

He retired from Leech Tool and Die Co. in 1984.  He was a member of First Christian Church and the Cambridge Springs Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Carol) Newhard of Meadville; four sisters, Alberta McCartney of Cambridge Springs, Margaret Proudfoot of Meadville, Betty Beerbower of Saegertown and Violet Knapp of Guys Mills; four brothers, George (Dick) of Hobe Sound, FL, Charles (Bob) of Washington, WV, Ralph of Port Huron, MI and Harold of Meadville; four grandchildren, Donna Lawrason, Robert Newhard, Paul (Bill) Newhard and Denise Hough; and 11 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Carol Dean Beerbower and a brother, Lloyd Beerbower.

Services were held at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
