Paul J. Seaman, 57, of Meadville, was stricken with a heart attack while waiting for the train for Marion, OH, yesterday at the Erie Depot.
Death was attributed to natural causes by Dr. Sherman L. Watson of Crawford County Coroner.
Seaman, who commuted to Marion, was employed there by the railroad as a machinist. He formerly was employed by the American Viscose Corp.
Son of George and Sadie Ray Seaman, he spent his early life in Randolph Township and attended schools there.
He was a member of the LOO Moose and FO Eagles and a railroad union.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Hazel Franklin Seaman; a daughter, Mrs. Howard Shafer of Woodcock Township; two sons, Theodore F. Hayfield Township and Kenneth R. of Marion, OH; thirteen grandchildren; a brother, Otto R. of Meadville; and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Cooper of Corry.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Radle Cemetery.
