Paul L. Kareha, 74, of Conneaut Lake, died Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at Meadville Medical Center.
He was born in Jessup August 6, 1930, a son of the late John and Mary Kudrec Kareha. He married Dorothy Smith February 24, 1951.
He was a military veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the US Navy from 1948 to 1949 and the US Air Force from 1951 to 1955. He worked at Alltel for 42 years, retiring in 1990 as central office supervisor.
He was a member of Harmonsburg Presbyterian Church.
He was a member and a past master of Linesville Masonic Lodge #498. He was a life member and past exulted ruler of the Meadville Elks Lodge #219.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Tracy E. Rendulic (Bob) of Conneaut Lake; a son, Randy Kareha (Robin) of Hartstown; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Albert and George Kareha and two sisters, Anna M. Smetana and Margaret E. Marhoefer.
Services were held at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.
Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
