Paul W. Smock, Jr., 61, of Meadville, died Tuesday, January 16, 1996, suddenly at home.
He was born in Meadville, November 11, 1934, a son of the late Paul W. and Sarah McKelvey Smock, Sr. He had been married to former Vera Gibson.
He had been self-employed as a home builder. He was a graduate of Meadville High School. He enjoyed country music and visiting with people.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Tracy) Mehalko of Edinboro and Mrs. Daniel (Lori) Gaston of McKean; a sister, Mrs. Ed (Bardara) McCoy of Meadville; four brothers, Donald R. Smock of Walhalla, SC, Richard K. Smock of Cochranton, Ronald J. Smock of Conneaut Lake and Lewis J. Smock of Meadville; a granddaughter and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Monaco.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
