Pauline F. Dearborn, 88, formerly of Saegertown, died Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Rolling Fields following a period of declining health.
She was born May 20, 1927 in Meadville, a daughter of Carl and Marjorie Howard Ferguson. She married L. Arden Dearborn July 17, 1948 and he preceded her in death September 17, 1998.
Pauline was a graduate of Meadville High School and also graduated from cosmetology school. A homemaker, she became a certified cosmetologist and taught cosmetology as well as worked at the J.C. Penney Company.
Pauline was a member of Hamlin Chapel United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading and single stroke oil painting.
Survivors include two sons, David A. Dearborn and his wife Debra of Corry and Paul W. Dearborn and his wife LiAnn of Allison Park; two sisters, her twin Carleen Gray of Saegertown and Marjorie Jackson of Parker, CO; a brother, Casey Ferguson of Saegertown; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
A graveside service and interment will be held on Saturday, August 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Penn Line Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Walton officiating.
