Pearl Johnson

Mrs. Pearl Johnson, 88, formerly of Meadville, died Sunday, February 4, 1968, at Smith Institute, Saegertown, after an extended illness.

She was born in Randolph Township, August 29, 1879, a daughter of Frederick and Edith Faunce Wright.  She married Lee H. Johnson on January 28, 1903.  He died July 10, 1961.

Mrs. Johnson was a housewife, attended Grace Methodist Church, and was a member of Mt. Hope Grange.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Russell of Saegertown and Mrs. L. D. (Hazel) Sheakley of Meadville; a brother, Donald of Guys Mills and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
