Pearl L. Turner

Mrs. Pearl L. Turner, 91, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since October 1970, formerly of Greenville, widow of William Turner, died Wednesday, July 17, 1985, at Wesbury United Methodist Community following a lengthy illness.

She was born at Hadley, Mercer County, February 5, 1894, a daughter of Russell F. and Albertina Dean Beal.  She married Mr. Turner November 27, 1934, and he preceded her in death March 17, 1952.

Mrs. Turner was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Greenville.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Mrs. Emily Love of Sarver and Mrs. Josephine Bortmes of Sharon; a sister, Mrs. Eva Olsen of Meadville; a brother, William J. Beal of Landsdale; several nieces and nephews and six step-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two step-daughters, Ruth Romaine and Beulah Haun and two brothers, Raloh Beal and Chester Beal.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Delaware Cemetery, Mercer County.
