Pearl M. Bierman

Pearl M. Bierman, 64, of Saegertown, died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born January 2, 1949 in Meadville, a daughter of the late Ira and Hazel Malliard Smith.  She married John (Jack) Bierman November 24, 1977 and he preceded her in death February 19, 2004.

Pearl was a 1966 graduate of Randolph-East Mead High School and she worked as a casting technician at Talon for 27 years.  She was a member of Living Waters Church and Meadville Eagles Aerie #429 Auxiliary.  She enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing shuffleboard, traveling by motor home, her dogs and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Richardson and her husband William of Centerville, Lori Rice and her husband Rick of Conneautville, and Lacy Leonhart and her husband Jeffrey of Conneaut Lake; seven grandchildren, Dalton Bierman, Drake Richardson, Dustin Bierman, Madison Rice, Levi Rice, Dakota Howles, and Kyle Bierman; four sisters, Irene Furno and her husband Dominic of Meadville, Donna Carroll and her husband Bobby of Sharpsville, IN, Ruth Gandelot and her husband Paul of Cardington, OH and Judy Alexander and her husband Charles Thomas of East Springfield; a brother, Charles Smith and his wife Nancy of Guys Mills; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dave Brumagin, Associate Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Rev. Ray Martinez, Pastor of Living Waters Church, co-officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville.

The family suggests memorials be made to Toys for Tots, 654 Arch St., Suite C-001, Meadville, PA 16335.
