Peter P. Chornack

Peter P. Chornack, 67, of Meadville, died Sunday November 16, 1975 at Spencer Hospital after a sudden illness.

He was born at Mt. Carmel March 8, 1908, son of Michael and Anna Chornack.  He married Rosina Frank June 3, 1939.  He was employed as a mine drainage engineer out of the Meadville office of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources.  Mr. Chornack was a 1931 graduate of Georgetown University and was a veteran of World War II, having served with the US Army.

Survivors include his widow; two sons, Lloyd F. of Meadville and Michael P. of Edinboro; three sisters, Miss Helen Chornack, Mrs. Mary Zanella and Miss Ann Chornack, all of Mt. Carmel; and two brothers, Stephen of Mt. Carmel and Michael of Los Angeles.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Entombment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum.
