A former employee of Talon, Inc. and Keystone Ordnance Works, Private Boyles is survived by his widow, Mrs. Kathryn and two children, Joan, 7, and Gary, 4.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was originally in Henri Chapelle Military Cemetery at Eupen, Belgium.  In December of 1947, his remains were shipped home to Crawford County and interred in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
