Philip Sheridan Hannah, 66, of Meadville, died Saturday, February 14, 1958, at his home. He had been in failing health for four years.
Born in Forest County, February 21, 1892, he was a son of Hugh and Christina Kifer Hannah. He married Vazilla Murray in 1916. He was last employed at Kane and retired from the lumber business in November of 1953.
Survivors, in addition to his widow, include a daughter, Bernice, wife of Danial Cowan of Monahans, TX; five sons, Edward of Meadville, Leo of Cleveland, Richard with the US Air Force in Michigan, Eugene with the US Air Force in England and Donald at home; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Anderson of James City, PA, Mrs. Amanda Tipton of Endeavor and Mrs. Sarah Maze of Toledo; two brothers, Carl of West Hickory and Daniel of Perry Point, MD and four grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Peters Cemetery.
