Phyllis Deane Crouch Tomiczek, 93, of Meadville, died Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Crawford County Care Center. She was born March 5, 1922 in Tarentum, a daughter of George and Beulah McGregor Crouch. She was married to Joseph Tomiczek for 64 years and he preceded her in death on September 29, 2013. Phyllis attended Trinity Lutheran Church and served on the Altar Guild. She was a talented seamstress and loved to read and to do needlework, cross stitch, and crafts. She won many ribbons at the Crawford County Fair and was known as a very kind and caring person with a gentle nature. Phyllis was a beloved wife and mother of four daughters, Susan Zurney and her husband Raymond of Meadville, Nancy Myers and her husband Bob of New Kensington, Sally Wolff and her husband Brad of Fairport, NY, and Melissa Clayton and her husband Garry of Meadville; eight grandchildren, Rachel Williamson, Brandon Decker, Sarah Zurney, Adam Zurney, Brian Zurney, Abbey Wolff, Dorian Wolff, and Hailey Wolff; and two great-grandchildren, Damion and Autumn Decker. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Crouch. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Crawford County Care Center for the wonderful care Phyllis received. A private ceremony will be conducted by the family. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Care Center, 20881 State Hwy 198, Saegertown, PA 16433. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert W.
