Mrs. Phyllis Emogene Greenalch, 47, of Meadville, died Saturday, November 9, 1968, at City Hospital after an illness of six months. She was hospitalized six weeks.
Mrs. Greenalch was born at New Bethlehem, Clarion County, February 16, 1921, a daughter of Alfred J. and Nellie Hellen Freeman. She married Joseph L. Greenalch May 16, 1941, and he died in July 1961. Mrs. Greenalch had been employed as a sales clerk at the local J. C. Penney Co. store for seven years. She was a member of New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Nancy) Rosche of Meadville; two sons, William L. and Donald L., both of Meadville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred J. Freeman, Jr. of Vero Beach, FL and three grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in New Bethlehem Cemetery.
