Phyllis Laderer

Phyllis Laderer, 69, of Meadville, died Thursday, July 20, 1989, at Meadville Medical Center following a short illness.

Mrs. Laderer was born in Meadville, February 12, 1920, a daughter of Dr. Martin V. and Ianthe Lang Boyd.  She married Robert R. Laderer January 13, 1940.  He survives.

She was a homemaker.  She was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church and was involved in church and community organizations.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Van R. Laderer of Towanda and Jay R. Laderer of Meadville; a daughter, Mrs. James (Lyn A.) Hostetler of Lewisburg; three sisters, Ianthe Henkels, Marylyn Trace and Catherine Boyd and nine grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
