Plummer B. Waid, 85, of Smith Institute, Saegertown, died at the institute Saturday evening, October 25, 1958, after an illness of about two years.
Waid was born in Woodcock Township, May 30, 1873, a son of George and Mary Jane Bean Waid and was the last of ten children.
He was married to Lucy Beatty, May 26, 1904 and was affiliated with Dr. W. W. Pease for 35 years. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by a daughter, Mildred, wife of Robert D. Gartner and a son, Preston B. Waid, both of Meadville; and two grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
