R. Gordon Cutshall

R. Gordon Cutshall, 65, of Meadville, was pronounced dead on arrival at City Hospital Sunday, July 9, 1978, following a sudden illness.

Born in Cochranton, May 29, 1913, he was a son of Ira B. and Mary Heath Cutshall.  He married Marian Grove June 4, 1939.  She died November 4, 1976.  Following 40 years service as a machine repairman at Talon Division of Textron, he retired at the end of May this year.  He was associated with the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Miss Martha Jeanne Cutshall of San Francisco, CA and Miss Roberta Ann Cutshall, at home; two sons, R. Glenn Cutshall of Woodcock and Thomas A. Cutshall of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Gaub of Meadville and Mrs. Karl (Virginia) Gilbert of Guys Mills; three brothers, William H. Cutshall of Guys Mills, C. Ellsworth Cutshall of Meadville and J. Arden Cutshall of Cochranton; two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
