R. Lee Rohrer, 76, of Meadville, died at home, Sunday, October 18, 1998 following an extended illness.
He was born in Boston, MA, June 2, 1922, a son of Arthur and Regina Perry Rohrer. He married Priscilla Clapp, April 25, 1946 and she survives.
He worked for many years in technical sales with Talon. He was a veteran of World War II with the US Navy and was known as a master wood craftsman.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Mrs. Timothy (Linda) Rau of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Scott (Pam) Curtis of Meadville; a brother, Arthur M. Rohrer of Rowley, MA and four grandchildren, Jordan Rau, Charles Goyette, Clayton and Gregory Curtis.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Rohrer, Jr., two brothers and a sister.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
