R. Mae Page

R. Mae Page, 92, of Meadville, died Monday, May 24, 1999 at the Crawford County Care Center following a period of declining health.

She was born May 26, 1906 in Greenwood Township, a daughter of the late Ezra and Sarah Consla Eells.  She married Arthur L. (Al) Page, Sr. January 25, 1936.  He preceded her in death November 30, 1978.

She was a homemaker and also worked for a brief period at Talon.  She was a member of the Meadville Elks Lodge 219 Aux.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doing crossword puzzles and traveling.

She was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John (Kathleen Sue) Hunter of Anniston, AL and Mrs. Harvey (Sandra) Kiser of West Palm Beach, FL; two sons, Arthur L. (Pinky) Page, Jr. of Stanley, NC and John D. (Jack) Page (Carol) of Meadville; two grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Bertha West and five brothers, Nicholas, Bert, Bill, Edward and Art Eells.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
