R. Thomas Henry

R. Thomas Henry, 50, was an assistant maintenance supervisor at Forest Green Estates.

He previously worked for Fairview-Fairmont Housing Corp., Lake Peterbilt of Erie, and the former Avtex of Meadville.  He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served with the US Marine Corps., where he received  his electrical engineering certification; chief of the Crawford-Erie State Police; master of Vernon Grange; member of Meadville Elks Lodge 219; member of Chapter N of the Goldwing Road Riders Assn.; and a member of the Retreads.

Henry, of Meadville, died Sunday May 15, 1994, at Meadville Medical Center after an illness of six months.

He was born in Weehawken, NJ, May 11, 1944, a son of Linna DuPont Henry of Saegertown and the late Glenn E. Henry.  He married Barbara J. Cooley, February 13, 1965.  She survives.

Survivors, in addition to his wife and mother, include two brother, Ronald Henry and Robert Henry, both of Conneautville; two nieces and five nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Henry and a brother, Richard Henry.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
