Rachel M. Luce

Rachel M. Luce, 82, of Conneaut Lake, died Monday, February 22, 2016 in Meadville.

She was born March 20, 1933 in Ashtabula, Ohio, a daughter of Rex and Mina Gowdy Stillman.

Rachel was a self-employed caregiver providing residential care to elderly persons.

Survivors include nine children, Wallace Luce and his wife Peggy of Linesville, Zennett Bennett of Ashtabula, OH, Terry Luce of Jefferson, OH, Milton Luce and his wife Dorothy of Conneaut, OH, Arleen Calvert of Conneaut Lake, Rex Luce of Warren, OH, Christine LaBarr and her husband James of Meadville, Brenda Miles of Pierpont, OH, and Bernece Johnson and her husband Jeff of Denver, CO; a brother, Donald Stillman of Kelloggsville, OH; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Luce; a grandson, Wallace Luce; four brothers, John, Jim, Frank, and Rex Stillman; and a sister, Dorothy Bonecutter.

A memorial service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Rd., Meadville.
