Rae Ella Rogers

Rae Ella Rogers, 56, of 725 Euclid Ave., Saegertown, died Monday, April 18, 2005 at her residence following an unexpected illness.

She was born in Meadville May 12, 1948, a daughter of the late Raymond and Betty Andrews Peterson.  She had been married to Russell Petruso.

She was a 1966 graduate of Meadville High School and a 1993 graduate of Villa Maria College, Erie where she received her Registered Nurse’s degree.  She worked as a registered nurse at Bayside I.H.S., Erie.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and interior decorating.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline Gildea and her husband Roger of Conneaut Lake; a son, James Petruso of Saegertown; and a sister, Fran VonBuseck of Meadville.

There are no calling hours.

A public funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville with the Rev. Steve Anderson of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Roman Catholic Church officiating.

Interment will be in Rocky Glen Cemetery.
