Ralph C. Decatur

Former Conneaut Lake resident, Ralph C. Decatur, 84, of Meadville, died Sunday, April 8, 2001, at Meadville Medical Center.

Born March 1, 1917, in Sayre, he was a son of Oliver and Frances Keene Decatur.

He was of the Protestant faith.

In 1982, he retired from American Standard after 38 years of service.

A former member of Espyville Senior Center, he enjoyed his flower gardens and fishing.

Survivors include a special friend, Eloise Scickora of Meadville; three daughters, Susan Greenhaugh and Donna Hormel, both of Sacramento, CA and Pat Gandolph of Palm Springs, CA; one son, William O. Decatur of Sacramento; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a sister, Helen Grace of South Waverly, NY.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Decatur and one sister, Hazel Cortright.

Service were held with the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.

Interment of cremated remains was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage.
