Ralph E. Harrah, 56, of Meadville, died Friday, April 4, 1969, at City Hospital.
He was born October 17, 1912, in Belington, WV, a son of James L. and Susan Mary Corchoran Harrah. He married the former Dorothy Walton on May 16, 1932.
Mr. Harrah was employed as a project engineer at Talon, Inc. Division of Textron for the past 16 years.
He attended Akron University, was a member of Village Masonic Lodge 274 of Burton, OH; the Solomon Royal Arch Chapter 191 and was past commander of the NW Commandery 25, Knights Templar, both of Meadville; Zem Zem Shrine in Erie, Meadville Country Club and West Mead 2 Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors, in addition to his widow, are two daughters, Mrs. Richard M. (Joycelyn) Morrow of Thousands Oaks, CA and Mrs. Terrance (Marsha) Siple of Newport, RI; a son, Mark A. Harrah of Meadville; three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Ruth) Breiding of Akron, Mrs. Joseph (Margaret) Martin of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Mrs. Marian Benedict of California; three brothers, Earl M. Harrah of Akron, John L. Harrah of Bedford, OH and Clair E. Harrah of Silver Lake, OH; and ten grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Erie Cemetery.
