Ralph H. Wygant

Ralph H. Wygant, 79, of Meadville, died at City Hospital Sunday, September 18, 1983, after an extended illness.

He was born at Meadville January 15, 1904, a son of Lynn and Eva Shorts Wygant.  He married Bonneita Teasdale in 1923.  She died in 1974.

He retired in 1969 after 40 years of service as a conductor with Erie-Lackawanna Railroad.  He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Shirley) Dill of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. Bernice Miller of Guys Mills; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
